Compost, soil mixes, and topsoil available at the Greenleaf Compost Farm, an EPA approved Class IV composting facility.

MARIETTA CITY RESIDENTS

Greenleaf will accept all leaves, grass clippings, and branches under 2" diameter from city residents at no charge. Proof of residency is required. A permit to dump at our facility is necessary and may be obtained at the Greenleaf Garden Center 414 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, Ohio 45750. Any brush or limbs larger in diameter will be accepted at normal rates. The EPA requires us to document the type, volume and source of materials dumped at our facility.

Everyone entering the Greenleaf composting facility must have in their possession a dump ticket or permit prior to dumping debris at the facility. A permit must be obtained at the Greenleaf Garden Center the day of using the facility. Greenleaf reserves the right to inspect loads of debris at any time and question individuals dumping at our composting facility. We reserve the right to refuse any non-compostable material or mixed loads of debris not compliant with policy. All leaves and grass clippings in plastic bags must be emptied and bags taken home for disposal/reuse. Materials can be dropped off in bulk or paper bags. All plastic bags must be removed and taken home. We reserve the right to refuse any non-compostable material.

NON CITY RESIDENTS

Normal rates apply to anyone outside the city limits. All inquiries may be directed to our Greenleaf Garden Center or by phone at 740.373.1639. You must pick up a dumping permit at the Greenleaf Garden Center before entering compost facility. Materials can be dropped off in bulk or paper bags. All plastic bags must be removed and taken home. We reserve the right to refuse any non-compostable material.
