2021 National Association of Home Builders - Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence.

Greenleaf Landscapes has been awarded the 2021 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) first place winner in the category of Specialty Trade Contractor Safety Program of the Year.  The SAFE awards program recognizes the achievements of single and multi-family builders, remodelers, specialty trade contractors and others whose efforts successfully advance safety in the industry.  This year's SAFE program honors individuals and companies that worked to achieve exemplary safety and health programs in the residential construction industry.  General Manager Dave Fleming accepted the award on behalf of Greenleaf Landscapes on February 8, 2022 in Orlando, Florida at the 2022 International Builders' Show.  Greenleaf also achieved 1.6 million hours worked from 2006-2021 with no recordable injuries through Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, along with receiving for the 12th consecutive year the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) No Vehicle Accidents, No Days Away from Work Award.  “We are so proud of our employees and their commitment to safety.  It’s so rewarding knowing your company makes the commitment for a safe work environment,” (Dave Fleming, General Manager)

 

 

National Association of Landscape Professionals: 2019 Awards of Excellence / Silver Award

First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden

On 11/4/2019 – Greenleaf Landscapes received a Silver Award of Excellence from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) for the “First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden” located in Marietta, OH.

Each year, the NALP Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional landscape, lawn care, and interior plantscape design projects from around the nation. In 2019; 128 awards were bestowed for maintenance, design/build, and contracting projects.

The First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden combines a private sunken playground area with a street level garden gathering space. Pathways and steps have improved access to the church’s daycare facility and parking. Plantings add interest and privacy. Lighting transforms the area at night.The street level garden incorporates salvaged materials from the church's old building, which has allowed the members of the church to build something new without forgetting their celebrated past.
